personally I like ibbins test scheme... with a few minor changes.... I don't like the shade of blue used in the BG... and I thinjmk the text color needs to be changed...

Personally I think the blue back pattern background with yellow, and the current blue black dont look very professional. Not to mention the text blending with background on higher res's. Im sticking with the mint green, though there are better color combinations, it gives the best readability right now.

Yeah, imo, of the current skins 'Ibbins test skin 2' is the best, but that's not to say it's the best possible skin.

Here's an idea, how about let's just blatantly rip off another site's color scheme? Honestly, there is a reason there isn't much variation in terms of color on the web, and it's not because everyone out there is uncreative. There are lots of very intelligent, creative designers out there and the designs that you don't see too often... it's for a reason, they look like sh*t.

Incidentally, that was my aim from the beginning. My first try(which no longer exists) was an imitation of the Wizards.com boards. That went rather poorly; either the chart doesn't provide the colors they used, or I couldn't find them. Ibbins Test Scheme 1 is based on my own website(which I took down a while ago), and the green one is based on Giades' old Freewebs site.
As for my vote, I went with my 2nd test scheme, because it's simple, consistent, and soft.

AHHH!!! OMG!!! I can't see now....those are just.....mmmmm....ouchers...eyes hurt soo bad!!
I liked the blue/.black bc it's dark and not hard on my eyes...but then I have VERY VERY light eyes. My hubby gets on the computer after me and he says that he can't see ANYTHING...but I see just fine....
like the Ibbins 1 & 2, but would liek to have the Every other post be a differnt color like in the blue/black theme.
Like with test # 1 we could alternate from Blue/yellow to Orange/blue? or something like that...
or a muted Blue/orange?
and with Test #2 we could alternate from green/black to Dark green/Light green?
Using the same color schemes...u know....teehee!!!
Just my opinion.

first off it is great you all say it doesn't look professional...but we aren't a professional site... and this is only a temp site while hydro-doom perfects the new site... so saying that it doesn't look professional just isn't a very good argument
